1. 策略

   在蒙大拿西部大学的人行道、人行道和公路上，允许使用非机动自行车、滑板、踏板车和直排冰鞋作为交通工具。 禁止在大学拥有的建筑物或大学财产内使用、拥有或储存电池驱动的自平衡板（悬浮板、赛格威、IO、老鹰和类似设备）。

2. 目的

   这一政策是由于对大学和更广泛社区的个人安全，校园财产保护以及机构责任问题的关注而制定的。

3. 程序

使用经批准的通行方式的，应当给行人让行权，行驶速度不得超过步行速度的两倍。

在任何情况下，获批准的车辆不得在坡道、路沿、长椅、台阶或其他建筑物或装饰上行驶

经批准的车辆不得在任何建筑物内使用。

出于防火考虑，任何电池驱动的自平衡板都不得在大学内使用或存放。

执行:

A. A person in violation of this policy will be asked to stop the activity and/or leave the campus and may be cited for a criminal violation
such as disorderly conduct (MCA 45-8-101) or criminal mischief (MCA 45-6-101).

B. If the violator is a current UMW student, the individual will also be subject to sanctions under the Student Conduct Code.
